Department of Economics in B.C.S. Govt. P. G. College Dhamtari research centre was established in session 2009-10. On date 30-01-2010 in the guidance of Dr. Mandeep khalsa (27-03-2009) and Dr. V.M. Jurry (09-12-2009). Ten scholars have been awarded Doctoral Degree and three students are registered for Ph.D. degree.
